Feed Reader allows you to retrieve RSS feed articles into your dashboard. RSS feeds on the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform giving you the possibility to follow all the latest information about your company, your brands, and your activities…

Feed Reader is a dashboard app that is both available on the public cloud and on-premises. Some pieces of functionality are specific to the cloud and are not available on-premises.

This guide is about Feed Reader on the cloud.

On the cloud, Feed Reader offers the following key pieces of functionality: Read articles from 3DSwym feeds or from sources that are external to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.

Copy the available URL. (Choose “Copy Link Location” for Firefox or “Copy Shortcut” for Internet Explorer or in your news reader, select the option that adds a new feed, then paste in the URL and click [OK].

Enter a feed URL in the Add tab

Click on add.

To change the title or URL link and the view style, click on preferences.

Here you can change the title, link in the feed tab, and View style. There are four options in the drop-down list of the View Tab.

• Condensed
• List
• Normal
• Mosaic

1 .Condensed

For each article, this view displays the article title and a few words from the article content on one line and in a small font.

2 .List

For each article, this view displays the article title and a few words from the article content on one line and in a font of a regular size.

3 . Normal

For each article, this view displays the article title, except the article content, and a thumbnail if at least one image can be found in the article content.

4 . Mosaic

For each article, this view displays the article title and a large thumbnail if at least one image can be found in the article content.
